Xtreme firmware for Hitachi 46D Xbox 360 V1.2 (tweak)

This is a tweak of the orginial Xtreme firmware 1.1
It include 3 tweak :
1 : Mode B tweak

If you start your Xbox with tray opened, the hitachis start in ModeB.
Start your xbox, open the tray.
Now power off your xbox by disconnecting power supply.
Start again your xbox, your drive is in ModeB .
Easy ;-)
2 : Tray open/close in ModeB (without adapter, hitachi on power supply from xbox).

Correct the open/close tray faulty operation when your drive is in modeb with Windows.
Now in modeB you can use your drive without problem.
3 : ---- Dashboard TimeOut tweak with DVD DL --- ;-)

During disk recognition, this tweak fake the open/close function.
if your disc are not recognized yet and you received the "Open tray" from dashboard.
Press the eject button -> xbox say opening but tray stay closed
Press again the eject button -> xbox say "closing" -- "reading disc"
No more timeout !!!!

If you want know of it work:
in 90003150 Is the ModeB tweak when you start the xbox (orinial code at 900665D)
In 90003170 is the Tray open/close tweak (original code at 900a956)
in 900a80c is the tweak for tray status in modeB for windows.

I'm also intrigued as to why commodore didnt post this release himself, from the looks of that French site, it seems as though he wrote the nfo for it.

Any file that can be used to circumvent the xbox360 copy protection is illegal, that goes for patches and firmware files. Feel free to discuss offsets of data or whatever. Also I deleted the countless posts of people asking for the files to keep it clean. |

why not adjust the offsets with the same standard as the 1.1 fw and give it a shot before desoldering? It could save time and worst case...you'd have to desolder your chip |

What birdy could do is discus in more detail of the how and why he did the particular patches. A lot of people surely appreciate the release others dont, but everyone can benifit from an analysis and details of the tweak. The binaries will be out there on the net just give it time, they always show up sooner or later but on the forums keep it to the duscussion.
