If anyone has bricked their Hitachi drive and have the original firmware I can recover it for you.

You can just send me your drive, email your original firmware in the format of drive_serial_number.bin (easier to trace when it comes in) original back on.

Dont ask me to mod it for you because I cant without the main console, but at least you'll have a working Xbox 360 again

If you want to check out what I can do search for some previous posts on here......

Hopefully I've replied to everyone on here and to evryone else thats pm'd me.

I can also recover hitach drives without the need of the original firmware... The keys can be extracted from a faulty firmware imaged decrypted and then injeceted into a know working image....

If you need to contact me try stuart.pilkington-way@swaytech.co.uk or stuartp_uk@hotmail.com

I'm in th UK but have had bricked drives from US, Germany and Netherlands

1.DVD drive is taken apart.
2.Flash chip, SST39SF020A TSOP is removed from the PCB.
3.Any excess solder taken off and cleaned.
4.Read in a Flash Reader/Programmer.
5.Compare the Read/decrypted Keys with the Firmware/Keys that were sent (if sent)(so far 100% match).
6.Chip Erased and Re-prgrammed with either sent firmware or new firmware generated from working image with keys injected.
7.Chip refitted.
8.DVD drive rebuilt.
9.Tested - Only Eject is tested.
10.Sent back to customer.

Its only tested with eject as customers only send the DVD drive to cut down on postage.

Samsung drives can be recovered with out desoldiering the flash, check out geebee's tutorial at xbox-scene and follow the bad flash recovery.

I've had a huge response on this from peope all over the world.

The price for UK inc return shipping is £35 and US is about $63

I've had quite a few requests if I would load Xtrm firmware on the drive. Sorry I can't do that.

If you send me a file you want loaded it is down to you to make sure that its in the correct format and working.
If it does not work its then your responsibility.

So far 100% sucess rate
