Just loaded iXtreme without one problem except trying to get on xbins was very slow..... I flashed using 10 sec "Bad Flash recovery Method" backups running fine so now we see.........Serving!
If your using your 360 to flash don't forget to pull the video cord out before flashing, do your deed within 5 minutes or you will be "Hot Swapping" to re-flash it.
Thank you Gentlemen

Does it require the video on layer 1? to boot the image?

Not sure there isn't much in the way of details in "C4eva" .TXt file this time. But according to earlier posts I do think he address this issue.

Thanks alot, just flashed mine. Some backups do not work, My guess is that they were not dumped correctly with bad dmi, pfi or bad video files. And the ones that do run were dumped correctly. Is this correct?

He done it that way so the drive speed is the same as how it would be if it was running the original firmware. if your drive is running at a slower speed then that could be detectable to m$. (well i'm sure thats what I read somewhere,if I am wrong then please correct me)

Can the new firmware detect a bad SS, and refuse to boot? I hope so.

Apparantly so, I can't confirm it though as my games are all stealthed ok so i've had no problems playing any games.

Had a virgin box lined up for this release, it was a pre fall update console with a TS MS25. Used my Linux360 as a power source for the drive, and had no problems flashing with MTKflash. Been online for about an hour with my own ripped stealth crackdown, no problems what so ever!
Awesome work C4EVA and GaryOPA!

All the credit for this "iXtreme" needs to be directed completely to "c4eva".
He is the true master, I did NOT have anything to do with all his wizard fixes in making the true best firmware hack ever produced so far for the X360 console.
The only thing I am working on is a new 100% dump/flash system for all the Hitachi drives, with a possible UNbrick feature for those dead drives stuck in "recovery" mode.

A massive thanks goes to C4E but we have to give you props as well dude because of all the work you have done to help the modding scene. I hope you both keep up the good work! :-D

is it possible we will see dual speed iXtreme? I can't stand noise when dvd is playing at its full speed...
I don't think this dual speed would be security hole - my original oblivion dvd is scratched a bit and console is playing this disc at reduced speed, so it wouldn't be good indicator if user is running backup or original disc...
