A little bit off topic but if you can get the flash done under 5 mins you can use your 360 power supply as long as the video cable is not plugged in. I would suggest getting a connectivity kit though to power the drive.

There is no ETA, it is in progress.

Hitachi is in the final debugging stage, and under going internal beta testing.

Busy working on the final dump/flashing program for both Hitachi and BenQ.

"c4eva" is waiting for a BenQ that has been mailed to him from us,
upon it's arrival, the firmware for it will be available soon after as
it is the same as the TS drive, and "c4eva" had already finished
an BenQ firmware just before this "Ban Hammer" $#!t happened.

Gary, does the Hitachi respond differently to the timing challenges?  If so, this could be 'another' downside to spoofing.

If that's true, then us spoofers need a version of firmware that emulates the timings of another drive.

In my case, I would need an ixtreme samsung firmare, that emulates the timings of a hitachi drive.

That's good news Gary. What do you honestly think of the iXtreme for the Hitachi's though in your opinion? Are they on the "level" of the TS's? Im curious to know about this "safecode" business C4E mentioned while dealing with HLG drives??

yes it is off the subject, GaryOpa if I am not mistaken has tested this theory and it is debunked. So it is safe to use the 360 with the Video Cable plugged in. Search the forums to verify this please.

That means next week.  Undecided  Kind of understandable, since there's more to 'watch out' for with the HLG drives. O'well ill just keep playing my friends box with iXtreme til then   Wink
