What is this tool?
This Graphical tool allows patching your XBOX and XBOX 360 Game Images with your own Security Sector file at the right addess, making the full process easier, fast and error free.  This app is for those who wants to create a game image to play with the Commodore4eva hacked firmware (for xbox 1 or for 360)


There are other important features of the app like:
a)   Image Browser, you can view the file structure, copy structure to clipboard, extract and replace files into the game image (dont replace an important file or you will burn a coaster)
b)   Browser supports XBOX and XBOX 360 raw dumps, XBOX  and XBOX 360 Quix ISO’s. (some newer releases from warez groups are not supported because they are releasing in wrong format: Nero ISO)
c)   Trim your Raw Images (XBOX and XBOX 360) eliminating the unused extra space from the image, lowering your burn time.
d)   Create a XBOX/XBOX 360 Raw Image joining video + game partition
e)   Patch your keys onto hacked firmware
f)   Retrieve Security Sector from original XBOX/XBOX 360 games (read full document)
g)   Mini DVD-Info Pro, this option combines basic functionality from CloneCD and DVD-Info pro, enough for our purposes so you don’t have to switch from one app to another.
h)   Create layout files (.lft) for WXRipper, so you can rip your XBOX 360 games in minutes and without the need of calculating any “magic number”.

Remarks:
-   This app has only been tested in Windows XP
-   Read this document in full
-   If you are using the app and don’t understand some field, re-read the document or leave the default value
-   This app does not contain any copyrighted code from M$, you must supply your own game images and your own security sectors to make it works.
-   I am not using source code from anybody, maybe I just put all the ideas on one tool
-   No warranties from any kind

I suppose you can extract the SS from X360 games with a PC drive now, can't you?

No, you need a samsung xbox 360 drive flashed with xtrm0800.bin.

To get the ss with a normal pc drive it would be needed patch the pc drive firmware (huge work and unneeded).

with when compiling new 360 image with the ss patcher/extractor should the "desired PSN where to locate the security sector" be 605FF ?
and after the compiling im good to go with .dvd file and Clone cd 5.2.8.1 ?

No, maybe you have not selected the right option button, on the Screen "New XBOX/XBOX 360 Image" when you choose XBOX 360 Xtreme hack it changes it for 4FB1F if it does not change (mine does it) you must choose 4FB1F

And yes when you finish the compilation the .dvd file is generated ready to burn with clonecd

Goto tools ,settings,write and change the layer break to user specified and enter the value from the IMAGE.dvd file i.e 1913760

just a option for you and the software is free.

When i press patch image button i get this msg:

"Warning: The specified layerbreak is lower than the xbox360 game layerbreak (1913759)
The image could not work properly (Chose a bigger swap dvd to make your raw images)
Do you want to continue?"

IS this normal or am i doing something wrong here? Can i just enter 1913759 into the layer break box?

My app uses the layerbreak for all the calculations, you need enter it.  Just type that value on the layerbreak box and the warning will gone

Thanks for the feed back. It might have something todo with the video section of the image , is it present or missing on the images you burn?

Thanks for this great program that keeps getting better.

The trim image feature sounds wonderful, but doesn't seem to work for me. For all of my iso's, it says that they will only be 15.38Mb smaller after the operation (they are roughly 7Gb in size). But the Image Browser shows the number of bytes each iso uses to be drastically different, from ~4Gb to ~6Gb. Is there something I'm doing wrong or something I'm missing?

Couple questions:

Has the function to create a .dvd automatically been removed when patching a RAW image?

I patched my image (has video partition) with my ss, it said it was done, but there was no .dvd file created.

Also when I tried patching an iso without a video partion, it did not do what version 1.4 did, basically create a new iso with a dummy video partion, patch it and create a dvd file all automatically. Is this feature now called "Concatinating"?

So If I load a image and it says it has no video, Do I just use the "Concatinating" feature instead?

Can I use the extract SS feature and not worry about using DVDINfoPro if I have my 360 drive hooked up to my PC?

The unlock feature is the same thing as sending the commands in DVDInfoPro?

Once unlocked can I use this drive in isobuster by using just the unlock feature?

I am a little lost sorry , could this tool 'repair' an older backup image (that previously would not work) so that it would work with the Xtreme firmware or are Wxripper and Xtreme backups still the only ones that work ?

not unless it's a proper raw dump and you got the matching security sector.

OK so I couldn't use say a Nero dump 

Could I replace the default.xex file of a working english title that was the wrong region with the xex from a Nero dump that was the correct region with this then ?

My problem is that we moved to France and I bought a game that (thanks to its sheer size) is in french only and my french is no where near good enough to play it yet. So I was thinking of using lets say an NTSC Wx dump and then use the default.xex from my original to 'build' a new image.
Would this app allow me to do that and also is it likely to work (assuming the file names for french and english are the same) ?

nope. that would invalidate the security sector.

Using the SS that went with the replacement xex wouldn't do the trick ?

Hi,

I'm seeing some REAL weird thing with all the ISOs i dump with wxripper



Notice that the free space in the image is giving negative values. Also the the info for "layer 0" seems odd.

No issues at all when dumping (no crc errors etc). Unsure what the error might be,
